Orthodox Catholic Faith
What is the HOLY CATHOLIC CHURCH - Western Rite?
We are a
manifestation of the Holy Catholic Church, which is the Original Church, the
one and only Church founded by Jesus Christ, which He sent forth to teach all
nations and promised that, by the abiding presence of the Holy Spirit, the Holy
Tradition of the Faith would be kept in ‘all truth’ as long as this world shall
last. We do not follow the Church of Rome. We should not be confused with
Anglicanism or Protestantism.
We worship according
to the unchanging traditional Western Catholic forms of worship. This is why we
add ‘Western Rite’ to our title of the Holy Catholic Church.
We teach the unchanging and unchangeable traditional ORTHODOX CATHOLIC FAITH as
it has been taught and practiced from the beginning. This Holy Faith was the
Faith of our forebears for many centuries.
We now proclaim to Western believers
- the Church
they have never had the opportunity to know until NOW.

The Prayer to Our Lady said publicly after Sunday Mass wherever the Church is found.
O Mary, most exalted among God's creatures, who by the power of the Holy Spirit and by thy freely given consent, didst conceive in thy womb the Eternal Son of thy Everlasting Father, we place the Holy Catholic Church (Western Rite) under thy maternal protection. Mother of God and Ever Virgin Mary, may many come to recognise our Church as a manifestation of the One, True, Undivided Catholic Church. May many be bought to the fullness of redemption and new life in Christ through the witness of our Church. May we be shielded from the attacks of Satan, and, following the example of thine obedience to the Father, may we ever remain true to our vocation and calling. Amen.
Note: The One True Undivided Catholic Church in our prayer refers to the Church, Eastern and Western, which were as One during the whole of the first millennium. Western Rite refers to the liturgy of the Western Church during that era.
